Since its inception, WTJU has been a different sort of radio station. Hundreds of volunteer hosts creating their own shows, sharing excellent and eclectic music. Over the years, we’ve built a sort of fellowship of misfits at UVA. And it feels like home.

Now WTJU 91.1 FM is turning 65 years old.

Join us for these celebrations:

EARLY JUNE: WTJU & WXTJ REUNIONS

WTJU is celebrating its 65th birthday in-person during the first two weekends in June 2022. WTJU’s reunions are open to anyone who’s been a host, volunteer, or supporter of WTJU or WXTJ.

WEEKEND #1: Graduated ~1980s or before

All events are free and open to the public except the dinner.
