By WTJU

Maya Anjali Buchanan has been spending the summer at the Heifetz institute concentrating on chamber music. Hailing from South Dakota, she is currently studying violin at the Curtis Institute of Music. She spoke with us about her very special Guarneri violin and her recent exploration of Indian classical music and its improvisational tradition.
