Somebody is making a Steve Keene Art Book and it looks pretty rad
By WTJU
You’ve probably seen some of Steve Keene‘s paintings before. He’s a Brooklyn based artist who has has painted literally hundreds of thousands of original artworks. Including some iconic indie record covers.
Several of Steve’s oldest paintings hang on the walls of WTJU’s studios. See, before he moved to Brooklyn, Steve Keene was a DJ at WTJU in the early 1990s.
Now there’s a Kickstarter effort to make a book of some of Steve’s art. It’s called the Steve Keene Art Book: Live from Subliminal Projects. Dan Efram is producing this art book, and it’s based on an exhibit he curated a few years ago at Shepard Fairey’s gallery in Los Angeles.
You can pre-order a copy of this book until May 28th at the Kickstarter page.
