Rum Cove’s 45 RPM Label History: Hot Wax Records

By Rum Cove

This series is designed to give you a visual representation of the many labels that The Rum Cove features on his long running Soulful Situation broadcast.

Hot Wax was a Detroit label founded by former Motown songwriting team Holland/Dozier/Holland in 1968. Since the label had a distribution deal with Buddah records, this sleeve was used in 68/69.
