Chicago pianist Lisa McQueen is visiting family in Charlottesville, and will display her jazz chops at Fellini's #9 restaurant on Wednesday evening March 21st. She will be playing solo piano from 6 to 8 pm, and then with a quartet comprised of local musicians, including saxophonist Michael Elswick, from 9 to midnight.

Lisa McQueen has been an ensemble member & Musical Director at Chicago's Annoyance Theater for 20 years. Her Second City Musical Director credits include two revues for Atlanta's Alliance Theater, as well as revues at Denver Center for Performing Arts and Boom Chicago (Amsterdam); as well as the Victory Gardens and Off-Broadway productions of Wild Men! both starring George Wendt. Lisa also plays keyboards with the Jeannie Tanner Jazz Quartet and The Rolling Clones, a band dedicated to the music of the Rolling Stones.
