Emmett D. Boaz III

Emmett Boaz, a WTJU volunteer since 1996, passed away Saturday morning doing one of the things he loved best – his show, “Leftover Biscuits.” He was 63. He is survived by his son, Emmett Daniel Boaz IV, his brother, Ashby Boaz, and sister, Kate Kroehler. Funeral arrangements will be announced as they become known. Emmett, who lived in Greene County, was a great friend of WTJU, and we will miss him. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to WTJU in Emmett’s name.

Tune in this Saturday, November 13th, as Peter Jones airs Emmett’s own version of his final show, originally heard this past June.
