The Buzzard Hollow Boys

T. A., Jeff Saine, Kurt Dressel and Sonny Layne, Charlottesville musicians for the past 20 odd years, have been entertaining audiences most recently as the Buzzard Hollow Boys. Their sound has been described as somewhere between the Dust Bowl and the Mississippi Delta - if Johnny Cash shook hands with Lightning Hopkins, on the road with Bob Wills.

Armed with a wonderful collection of mostly traditional songs, they are ready to consecrate this musical union by releasing their first CD, Moonshine Remorse Redemption, on March 27th at Bel Rio Restaurant & Bar. As a part of the celebrations, they will join Pinetops Stephen and George Dayton on the Cosmic American Jamboree with a special live performance on Thursday, March 25th starting at 12:45 pm. To join the fun, you can simply turn your FM radio in the Charlottesville, VA area to 91.1 FM or point your favorite web browser to WTJU's internet radio stream. It'll be a hoot'nanny!
