Since 2011, WTJU has increased its local production capacity and its frequency of remote broadcasts and live in-studio performances. WTJU is striving to present much more web content at a redesigned in order to better serve the public as the media landscape continues to change.

The WTJU Producer & Content Director is responsible for managing and creating a wide range of radio productions including producing, distributing and promoting WTJU's nationally syndicated programming and local radio content; engineering live music performances; operating remote broadcasts; assisting WTJU hosts with the creation of their content; creating and editing digital multimedia content; and recruiting, organizing, and training volunteer producers and digital content creators.

The ideal candidate will be able to tell compelling stories and engage media consumers with sound and web media. He or she will have excellent audio production skills and strong skills creating and editing web content. The successful candidate will also have experience in public/community media, in training and managing volunteers, and in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
