Fiddler Nate Leath and other members of LEATHal Matter will stop by WTJU on Friday, June 21, for visit with Sunset Road host Pete Marshall.  LEATHal Matter will be performing the following night at the Southern Cafe & Music Hall in Charlottesville.  Also performing that night will be Ginal Sobel and the Mighty Fine.

Nate Leath is one of the new bright lights illuminating the contemporary fiddle universe. He tells a story with every note he plays. I look forward to hearing many wonderful things from Nate in the future - he's a fiddle player who's got something substantial to say and I for one will be listening. –– David Grisman

LEATHal Matter is the most recent project from Nate Leath - a multi-instrumentalist on the forefront of today's music industry. Leath received a bachelors degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston and has been spending most of his time on the road or producing records. Leathal Matter brings together a mix of bluegrass, funk, psychedelic rock, hip hop and cinematic soundscape

"This is music for music lovers. Which I am. Riding the line between classic and progressive, Nate Leath provides an instrumental voice through his fiddle. From eastern meditation to Appalachian gypsy funk, flourishes of genius arise. This record makes me proud to be a Virginian."  --Keller Williams
