Caleb Stine will stop by WTJU Friday, May 17, for a visit to Sunset Road. Later that evening he will be performing at a benefit concert for The Haven's day shelter. Also on the concert bill that night are Alex and Amelia of Mountain Man, and Central Virginia's Own Red & The Romantics.  Joining Caleb in studio will be local bassist Lee Johnson, and pedal steel player Dave Hadley.

Caleb Stine, like his Baltimore home, keeps it simple. Hardworking, genuine, and unafraid to tell it like it is, Stine has released 5 albums of original songs. No Depression says, “‘I Wasn’t Built For A Life Like This’ places Caleb among some of the best songwriters of this time and could possibly make him the 21st Century’s Townes Van Zandt.”  Caleb’s music has been described by The New Yorker as “appropriately trainlike—steady and powerful,” by The Baltimore Sun as “truly compelling.” His confessional singing and picking style will be accompanied by local bassist Lee Johnson and pedal steel powerhouse Dave Hadley.
