Tell Us A Tale at the Prism

Tell Us A Tale Serves Up Latkes and Roast Beast at the Prism

Date: Saturday, December 4
Times: 1-2 pm, 2:30-3:30 pm (two different shows)
Location: 214 Rugby Rd, Charlottesville (corner Gordon Ave and Rugby Rd)

Join the cast of Tell Us A Tale, the popular children's radio show heard right here on WTJU every Sunday from noon to 2 pm, for their fourth annual Hanukkah and Christmas celebration at the legendary Prism. In addition to the fun classic tales, including Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and Eric Kimmel's "Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins", there will also be music from two special musical groups. A local duo, Proutt and McCormick, will handle the Christmas songs, while the award winning klezmer band, Vulgar Bulgars, will provide some Hanukkah tunes.

There will be two different shows, the first starting at 1 pm, and the second at 2:30 pm. Both programs will be recorded and air later in the month on WTJU (and other stations that carry Tell Us A Tale in syndication). Come for one or both shows.
