Girlyman on The Eclectic Woman Show, Mar. 15

Girlyman returns to The Eclectic Woman Show
Thursday, March 15 2007

Girlyman will be joining Sandy and Joyce for a live interview during The Eclectic Woman Show Thursday, March 15 from 7 - 9 p.m., to talk about the release of their eagerly awaited third recording. This newly released CD, "Joyful Sign", produced by Girlyman and Bob Harris, contains 14 new original songs and features drummer Joe Chellman.

Here's what Girlyman has to say about it: Our approach in making this CD was to create a studio album that had some of our live show energy in it. Joyful Sign reflects not just the year we spent writing, arranging, and playing the new songs at live shows, but also the grand old time we had in the studio making the CD. We're excited for you to hear it.

Imagine a modern-day Peter, Paul & Mary - only edgier, and with a quirky sense of humor. Girlyman's harmony-driven style veers from contemporary folk to country rock to pop. Each member switches off songwriting duties, lead vocals, and a range of instruments, including acoustic guitar, djembe, banjo, baritone guitar and mandolin.
